What is Coronavirus?
Coronavirus is a family of viruses that can cause a range of diseases in humans including the common cold and severe forms such as SARS and marshes that are life-threatening. The virus is named after its shape, which takes the form of a crown with protrusions around it and is therefore known as a coronavirus.
How did the outbreak happen recently?
A recent outbreak of coronavirus is believed to have occurred in a market for illegal wildlife in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. Chinese health officials and the WHO is investigating a recent coronavirus outbreak.
Is recent stress fatal?
Since this is a new strain, there is no specific vaccine that can treat it. However, according to the WHO, “many symptoms can be treated and therefore treated based on the patient’s clinical condition”. However, it has already killed more than 69,000 people globally.
What steps have been taken so far to check its spread?
The Chinese government initially closed Wuhan due to an outbreak of the virus. However, it was too late. The virus has now spread to all continents except Antarctica.
How is India going to spread the answer?
India has expanded the screening of international travelers. Some Indian travelers who were found to have coronavirus strain have been isolated before their release.
How has this affected the economy?
There are growing concerns that prolonged quarantine, supply chain disruptions and a sharp decrease in tourism and business travel may weaken the global economy or even cause a recession.
