Interaction games are only as good as the characters introduced in them, which, in Sakura School Simulator, are undoubtedly fun. To play this highly addictive game, all you need is a phone containing over 2 GB RAM and a system featuring any specs over Snapdragon 820. Of course, if you have an older model, the game will still run on your phone – just not as smooth. Sakura School Simulator is quite interesting in its storyline because it features so many gameplay options that you won’t know how to decide on a single one. There are two main options that users usually go with. The first is to enjoy the simulation game to make friends (or lovers) out of the users in the game and enjoy the fun school grounds. Here, you can chat, walk around, and do pretty much everything you would do in real life. The second option is to go on a wild rampage, kicking and fighting as you go by. However, don’t forget to stop by Yakuza’s office first, gather some kickass weapons, and finish what you started.
Even though the game features several life-threatening situations, the developers have made sure to tone down the explicitness of it all. There are no depictions of blood, violence, torture, or anything similar. They have been so careful that the concept of death doesn’t even exist there. If you want to “kill” a user, you will only stun them, and they will not die. They’ll just disappear from existence, sort of how you’d imagine to shun away from those pesky neighbors of yours. Oh, and the stunned people can rise back from the dead on the next day, so they will certainly hate you.
The main hallmark of this game is undoubtedly its communication. To start you off on the virtual world, the game lets you chose from a wide range of phrases, topics, and discussions that you can share with your fellow friends. You can control or modify up to four players in one single stage. Like with all great things, the first two come at you for free (are pre-set in the game), and the extra two can be rewarded through watching ads of a non-intrusive nature. You decide.
This incredible simulation game is entirely designed by Japanese creators, and the town where the magic happens heavily depicts Japanese culture. The open, fictional world is called “Sakura Town,” and its tones are pretty lovely. Moreover, the situations integrated into the game are heavily influenced by Japanese high-school culture, so you can experience first-hand what it means to be one of those lovely people. The animations also include various sci-fi events with fantastic elements, so you will never be bored of making your way through this world.
You start off quite comfortably in a dorm and move your way up to the social hierarchy of Sakura Town. Before you get into everything, the game leads you through an avatar designing wizard. Here, you will neatly decide how your character will look like, so you can bring all your anime-watching dreams to life. You make friends, enemies, foes, lovers, and everything in between, as long as you save a particular spot in your heart for them. You can attend the school sessions or decide to go on a shunning spree. You can also buy things at the local markets & vendors and later gift them to the incredible friends you just made earlier. You can eat in the sushi bar and enjoy the incredible Japanese recipes that you keep obsessing over on films. To make things even more interesting, the game features an unlikely car restore shop (because who wouldn’t want that in a high school, right?). Here, you can earn money by working, which triggers a nice tiny ad for you to take advantage of. Don’t worry though, that’s not all the good that comes out of this little building. You also get to drive cars (until they’re broken from exhaustion) and visit your favorite touristy places. As you make your way towards the beautiful fields, you can choose to visit the amusement park and ride the attractions there until you’re sore from all the fun. All the actions you decide to take in the game will directly affect the simulation and give your character a unique personality from the millions of other players.
Some might argue, but the best thing about this game is that it never ends. You can exhaust all your most profound dreams and find the best way to play it. Another great advantage is that the game is often upgraded, and new content is constantly added in. All the new items are marked with a “new” context on the game, so you will quite literally never miss out on an opportunity. Quite recently, the developers included some pretty awesome content that the Sakura School Simulator fans immensely enjoyed. These add-ons have the ability to choose over hundreds of kimono patterns (kimono – a traditional Japanese outfit typically worn by women), different car colors, more variations in hairstyles, baby costumes (yes, there are babies, and you can also interact with them), a live music house, cooking styles, music tools and much more. And if all that still doesn’t convince you, then we’re glad that we saved the best part for last. The Sakura School Simulator allows its users to quite literally fly, hover, and jump around town without a single care in the world. Not only that, but you can gather your friends in a fun-having circle, perform crazy exhibitions, and perhaps even show off a few dance moves that will wow other players and get them to be your friends. Why can’t real life be that simple?
